April, 2015: Stephanie is a fresh new face on the local scene, currently gracing our stage as Dottie in KILLER JOE. We think she's a lovely addition to the theatre community.
How long have you been doing theatre? I’ve actually only been doing theatre since 2011, I played extremely competitive club volleyball growing up so I never had the chance to explore the world of theatre.
What was your first role? My first real role was playing the part of Sin in PARADISE LOST at THEATREdART. Before that I played Ms. Fucia in THE TARANTINO VARIATIONS —a one act at UCCS.
What was your most difficult role? Marie in WOYZECK. I played her very close to the bone and didn’t realize how dangerous that can be.
What was your most rewarding role? Marie in WOYZECK. I grew more than I ever could have hoped and built a precious and invaulable friendship with Patrick who was playing the part of WOYZECK.
Funniest performance anecdote: I will never forget fake squeak-crying with Bob Rais in SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS.
Theatrical High point: Getting the role of Marie. It was my first big role in a play I totally loved. I called my boyfriend sobbing I was so excited.
